Junior member of the 7th Circuit Daemon Hunters, Faith Faraday is on a mission to uncover the truth to the death of her twin sister, Hope. Accompanied by her sentient AI companion, Grace, and her nanobot powered utility android, Chip,  Faith infiltrates the hollow, the R&D bunker deep inside Mount Fuji. Half Japanese and half Danish, Faith leverages her AI programming talents to detect and destroy Daemons,  malicious programs inserted it into AI, disguised as errors in the code.
